Well my friends, let’s see the change begin. This has been a great day for America!!!! I am hopeful Obama will turn this country around! Yet we need to get to work, and what about all this money that is going out. I believe it should be going to the people somehow, NOT whoever the government wants it to go to. No one is paying attention to this or taking responsibility for where all this money is and has been going!
WHERE IS ALL THIS GOING? Oh, it’s going for forclosures, banks (to loan us money), Wall Street, GM, Ford, infrastructure (it takes 5 years to plan strong infrastructure), that’s great for construction workers, what about the rest of us? And loans to who else? Somebody better be watching! The past President, the Treasury Department and Congress sure have not been watching. I believe we should have given the money to the people somehow, so they could pay down their mortgages, credit cards, and spend to spur the economy. Government needs to end their overspending in many areas. How about a 10% tax across the board, lower student loan payments, STOP the pork spending, STOP giving the $ to institutions. Help the people somehow! The institutions have screwed up enough. We still don’t know where the first $750 billion has gone. It would be nice if goverment gave us a specific accounting instead of these broad terms, seeing we have to pay it back! I know we will be in excess of 4-5 trillion by the time it is done, (wait and see), and the people will still be suffering…! We want a plan that works, and are not seeing one yet, we hope to see it!!!
